I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina a few decades back. My love for art began at the age of five, when I stumbled upon my grandparents’ collection of postcards from their trips to Europe. I distinctly remember holding the card of Michaelangelo’s Pietà in my small hand and being in disbelief that what I was looking at was made of marble. It was then that I wanted to be an artist.
After graduating high school in San Diego, CA, I traveled back to Buenos Aires where I studied drawing and painting with Clelia Speroni, a renowned teacher and artist. I spent three years under her tutelage, then traveled to Seattle, WA, where I attended Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Washington, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Printmaking.
Throughout my thirties I taught printmaking and continued painting in my studio. I am now a full time artist, working primarily in watercolor and oils.
