When designing and fabricating a piece, I often find that my inspiration comes from the stones themselves. I am drawn to these organic substances of the earth and the juxtaposition of combining them with geometric shapes and contrasting textures. The individual stones and components almost seem to select each other and create their own story together. It always pleases me when someone is immediately attracted to one certain piece. It is as if they hear that particular story, too. This phenomenon emphasizes the intimacy of wearing one-of-a-kind art jewelry.

Not only do I enjoy the creative process, but I am also gratified to see that connection between the wearer and the jewelry piece.
